On 9th February 2026, Our C.E.O had the privilege of meeting Hon. Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, Minister of State Designate in charge of Special Initiatives and Member of Parliament for Nkoranza South. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss how DorHob's technology and e-business infrastructure could contribute to Ghana's national agenda of expanding economic opportunities and supporting large-scale job creation.
During their discussions, He shared our company's conviction that Ghana's greatest asset is not merely its labour force but its entrepreneurial potential. In his view, the country is rich in talented, creative, and hardworking young people who possess the drive to build successful businesses. What many aspiring entrepreneurs lack is not ambition—it is access to the right infrastructure, affordable business tools, and an ecosystem that reduces the cost and risk of starting a business.
He further explained that while creating employment remains an important national objective, empowering more people to become business owners can also be a powerful pathway to sustainable economic growth. By providing the right infrastructure, thousands—and potentially millions—of Ghanaians could build enterprises that create value and generate employment for others.
Our company's belief is that Ghana's next stage of economic development should focus on providing practical platforms that make business creation more accessible to ordinary citizens. Countries that have successfully expanded their entrepreneurial base have often invested heavily in the infrastructure that enables innovation, production, and commerce.
That is the mission driving DorHob.
Established in 2018, DorHob has been committed to building an integrated digital and e-business infrastructure that enables anyone with determination and a business idea to start, grow, and scale a business with minimal capital requirements and reduced operational risk. Our platform is designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and SMEs with the technology, business management tools, market access, and commercial ecosystem needed to succeed in today's economy.
Our long-term vision is bold. We believe that, at scale, DorHob's infrastructure has the potential to support more than 2m+ people in starting and growing their own businesses, helping to create a new generation of entrepreneurs in Africa.
Whether through partnerships with government, the private sector, development organizations, or independent innovation, DorHob remains committed to building the infrastructure that empowers entrepreneurs. Our mission goes beyond technology—we are creating an ecosystem where ambition can become enterprise, enterprise can become prosperity, and prosperity can be shared across communities.
At DorHob, we believe that when people are given the right infrastructure, they do not simply look for jobs—they create opportunities for themselves and for others. That is the future we are building.
